What I love to know about your pup before hand: - do they have any anxieties or insecurities - what don't they like or what makes them nervous - what keeps them calm and happy at home and on outdoor adventures - how active are they usually day to day - how would you describe their personality - what tools do you use to work with your dog - harnesses, leashes, training tools, etc - what training methodology do you prefer - what are your dogs skills and training words especially those for walks - etc.

I love creating new mental games for dogs when the Portland weather is not conducive to a nice walk outside. Some of these games include snuffle mats, hide and seek, and some other fun games to keep pups engaged and tire them out mentally. For walks, if open field trips to the Columbia River along Marine drive has a lot of sniffs and new views for pups to take in and experience. And if it is a dog that loves water, why not some play time in the river?
