Pet care experience
Vancouver (and surrounding WA towns): I can sit any night of the week. Portland: Can only sit on Fri, Sat & Sun nights. No walking or drop-in visits. Although I'm new to Rover as of late spring 2018 I am not new to caring for animals. I grew up on a farm where we had dogs (and many other animals) so I'm an animal lover at heart. I have volunteered at a pet shelter and I've owned my own dog. When friends and family go out of town I'm often the first person they call to take care of their fur babies. I have a full-time remote based job and just need reliable high speed WiFi and a workspace (most often, a kitchen table and chair). While I do work remotely I often have phone/video meetings so a really verbal dog (or one who needs to be let out hourly) and I won't be a good fit. I look forward to meeting you and your babies!

Michelle was so great! I know our pups were beyond loved and spoiled while we were gone. Our place was clean upon our return which was such a wonderful surprise:) she also kept us up to date on how things were going. She was beyond wonderful!
Michelle was wonderful. So organized, responsive and thorough. She took great care of my pup, who can be a bit bossy and stubborn.
Michelle sat my kitty for one night. We had great communication thru the 2 days one night & kitty was great when we got home. Michelle was also very flexible with our accommodations since we are in the middle of a kitchen remodel. The house was locked and all was well when we returned home. Much appreciated & do recommend Michelle to others as a trusted sitter.
Michelle is freaking fantastic. She's friendly, easy-going and LOVES animals. She didn't roll her eyes when I described the special feeding situation for my beloved Deuce AND she was happy to care for my plants too. Michelle is professional, neat and on the ball. Everyone needs a Michelle in their life. Oh, and my dog is in love with her - was it the extra "scritches" behind the ears? the daily conversations or the simple camaraderie they developed? I don't know, but Deuce was happy as a clam when we returned. Once upon a time I owned a successful boutique pet-care company so my standards for pet-care are very high. I expect nothing but the best and Michelle over-delivered. You need this woman in your pet's life. You won't be sorry.
