I have been around dogs for my entire life. I like to give dogs freedom and frequently think of them as adults that need direction. I am willing to let the dog lead the walk in regards to speed and direction, but always keep the dog safe as well as their surroundings. i understand that dogs have a mind of their own and keep that in my mind as I am with them. Unfortunately I tend to spoil dogs and usually let them have their way within reason. I allow dogs to play with other dogs as long as there is no anxiety for either dog. i believe in nurturing their curiosity and letting them check things out before they chose to get involved or not.
