Pet care experience
I've been around dogs my whole life but really got my training when I raised a bichon-poodle puppy in New York City. Through him, I got to be good friends with a rewards-based trainer who taught me loads about everything from separation anxiety to socialization cues. I've been the go-to sitter for friends' pets ever since, and love having them around until I'm ready to commit to a new one of my own. I am an avid walker and distance runner and have experience exercising two huskies, so happy to do that with big dogs, too.

Michelle was great with our 2 little doggies. She was easy to communicate with, kept us up to date and very accommodating. She clearly has a love for animals, I would not hesitate to leave our dogs with her again.

Michelle, looked after our beloved JJ for just over a week & we couldn't be happier! JJ settled in immediately & we felt very confident that he was being well looked after & cared for. Having daily photos & updates from Michelle kept us in the loop on all his activities & his well being. Being so close to us, it was very easy for both drop off & pick up & we really appreciated her flexibility in accommodating JJ's bed & toys, his diet & his exercise needs. I've got a fenced yard and tidy home so little trouble to get into. i feel my experience with dogs has given me a good sense of their cues when out and about (ie when they are tired / thirsty/ scared / need to be on a lead or carried). But I will look to you for any rules or guidance to ensure all smooth.

Availability
I am an author and screenwriter by trade, so work from home and take frequent walking breaks around Wimbledon Common, which is a minute walk from my flat. I also have a garden where I sometimes work, so very easy to have a dog around.
