I love dogs and cats and treat them as my own! I am pet-less for the first time in my adult life and I am returning to pet sitting and cannot wait to give your fur-babies some love and care. I lost my sweet, diabetic, blind, senior Maltese with Cushing's Disease in 2019 and I know how difficult it was every single time I traveled to find someone I trusted to care for him, including giving him his insulin, giving him his Cushings meds and making sure he didn't fall off a piece of furniture. I want to help care for other people's fur babies and to provide you the reassurance that the same thing that happened to me will not happen to you (he was not staying with a Rover sitter!). I am a master at giving meds and insulin shots (did so for 6 years) and I love caring for senior or special needs dogs or cats, or helping them recover from surgery or a hospitalization, if needed. I also grew up with dogs and cats my whole life. I am a trustworthy person of my word, and if I tell you I will be there at a certain time, I will be there. And I know how important consistency is in medication administration. I take the commitment to care for your fur babies as seriously as if they are my own which was often hard for me to find as a long-time pet owner.
