Pet care experience
*My primary service is doggy day care, boarding space is very limited and is given to currently enrolled day care clients. I do not have availability to have dogs dropped off with me for daycare as I do not provide day care at my own house, it’s on family acreage*. I have been a professional pet sitter and dog walker since 2005 specializing in group off leash adventures. I recently moved back to Bellingham to be closer to home and family. I have worked professionally in the pet industry in various capacities since 1999. I went to school to be a veterinary assistant at Bellingham Technical College in 2003. I have two years experience teaching dog obedience classes. I have owned and worked with all types of animals from fish to parrots, turtles, chickens, rabbits, cats, dogs, farm animals and everything in between! Please ask if you need something special for your pup, I am likely able to accomodate most requests. I can provide half days of up to 4 hours of play for $18 and full days of up to 8 hours of play for $30 including pick up, drop off and doggy towel service at your home.

If my pup could talk I’m sure he would say “I wish I could go to daycare everyday. Michelle is the best!” :) But seriously, Michelle has been so helpful and accommodating around my work schedule. It’s so wonderful that she picks up and drops off whenever daycare is needed. I’ve received so many great photos of my doggo playing with dogs out at her huge, beautiful farm. I don’t think the dogs she takes care of could be any more spoiled. Highly recommend Michelle’s daycare!!
Michelle and Rae are an absolute godsend!! I’m so appreciative of their care, communication,and service that I would make a billboard and advertise for them on I-5, ...but I won’t, in hopes that they still have room for my dog on a regular basis! Best folks on Rover, period.
Best dog sitter ever! I had so much anxiety about leaving my dog with someone I didn’t know, but after meeting Michelle and seeing the wonderful business that her and her business partner have created, all my anxiety was at ease. She listened to my concerned and ensured me my fur baby would be well taken care of, and boy was he! She took him to her family farm to run and play with the other dogs she watches, and she took them to play in the snow at Mt.Baker. How fun is that? She sent me pictures to let me know my boy was doing just fine. My boy is so happy after his stay with her. He was having so much fun I was worried he wouldn’t want to come home. She is the only sitter I will use now!

I can only accept fully vaccinated pups for day care over 4 months in age. If over 9 months in age are they spayed or neutered? If not, have plans to do so? All day care pups over 9 months must be spayed or neutered. I will not confirm services until after I have met you and your pup for the first time.
A typical day
I provide pick up and drop off from your home and take day care and boarding pups to a 2+ acre private dog park on my family farm in Whatcom county. We spend our days playing fetch or going for hikes on our 7 acres. Plus plenty of snuggle breaks! Then I bring your pup home tired and happy.
