Hi! My name is Michelle and I love all animals, but especially dogs. Growing up my family had German Shepherds, Chihuahuas, Pomeranians, Afghan Hounds, and Labs. I’ve also had cats, birds, rats, rabbits, hamsters and chinchillas - to name a few! All of our family pets were treated as family members. Rest assured that when your dog is in my home, they will be treated with respect and kindness.  I'm a fairly active person and love the outdoors so your dog will get plenty of walks and even get to check out some local hiking trails, depending on their needs and physical ability. The other members of my household include two rescues - a 2-year-old chihuahua/border terrier named Saffy, and a 10 month-old affenpinscher/terrier named Basil. Saffy is a spunky little girl, very sassy and full of energy. Basil is a goofy and affectionate little guy who loves everyone and everything. Both get along with other dogs and love to play.  Our home is a spacious pet-friendly apartment in the heart of West Hollywood.  Your dog will have full access to the apartment interior as well as a large fenced back patio. While I would never say no to my own pets sitting on the couch and sleeping in the bed I do respect that other people may have different rules in their own home. Please let me know what your personal rules are and I will do my best to respect them. I also have experience with dogs with medical conditions and daily oral medication needs. I'm happy to try to accommodate any special requirements you might have.
