I have been in the vet field for over 15 years and enjoy interacting with animals even outside my job.I'm trustworthy and very knowledgeable and confident in my ability to care for your fur babies. I enjoy walks also and am mostly available for those on weekends, as I work full time at a veterinary clinic and I am off on weekends. I have a cat and dachshund that my husband and I adore. They get along with other dogs well. I am very comfortable with giving medications and dealing with special-needs pets, even diabetics. In certain circumstances, I am able to sit in your home, also. While I appreciate crate-trained dogs, it is not necessary to have this. It keeps animals separated while I'm out of the house temporarily, but I can arrange differently, if needed.

Wonderful care for our boy, Adonis!!!!
Michelle is wonderful. Ella is a rescue dog and I was a little worried about leaving her while I was away. Michelle sent me updates, pictures and a video. I could see how well she was doing plus I could see how much Ella loved being with Michelle and her family when I picked her up. She is excellent and I will use her again and I would recommend her to others.
I have an extreme special needs little boy, who not only has a slew of health issues including epilepsy, but is also quite temperamental and guarded due to being mostly blind. Michelle got his routine and quirks down, and it is not easy to take care of my boy AND deal with a mother like me! Part of me hesitates to write how awesome Michelle is because I don't want her to become so popular and wanted, that a waiting list will be required to book with her! Yes-she's that great!

I would like the dog to get along with cats if I board them since I do have a cat that roams within our home freely. And, of course, the dog should be social and get along with other dogs, preferably. No breed is off limits, depending on temperament. PLEASE NOTE: I may charge more for special needs pets that have specific care instructions and/or medications. My fees for this are something we will discuss before booking as the price per day will change according to your pet's special needs. Also, I will insist that your pet be on flea and tick preventatives. My animals are treated according to their specific preventative instructions and my house stays flea, tick and meat-free. If fleas/ticks are found on your pet during a stay at my home, I will require immediate treatment. Extra charges will have to be arranged immediately to cover the costs.
A typical day
I will walk the dog in your neighborhood unless it is boarding with me or if you specify otherwise. A Home Depot trip may also be something we do for fun. If you have any requests, I'm very open.
