Michelle was wonderful! She was a huge help

We had a pretty bad experience with Michelle. She watched our two cats, Jackson (1 year old) and Kobe (3 month old) for a few days while we were away. She stayed at our place and the expectation was for her to feed the cats three times a day, give them water, and clean the litter boxes. We provided her a super clean apartment, high speed internet, and more to make it a comfortable stay! Firstly, Michelle wasn’t great with providing updates and we had to request updates multiple times. We would have loved the bare minimum of ‘Cats are fed, all good here’ but we got nothing the first day and had to request a few times before she sent us a pic a day. Second, when we came home, she hadn’t picked up ANY poop from either of the two litter boxes and had just filled up extra instead. As a result, the cats tracked poop ALL over the apartment because they didn’t have clean space to relieve themselves in the litter boxes. There was poop on the floor in the bathroom, bedroom, on the bed linens and on the cats themselves too. This was awful to come home to after a nice vacation and we spent hours cleaning the apartment and the cats. When we asked Michelle, she mentioned that she didn’t understand the expectations of cleaning litter even though it had been clearly stated in the messages we’d sent to her (and a basic expectation when watching cats). We gave her two stars because at least she fed the cats on time but overall this whole experience left us not wanting to use Michelle again.
