Pet care experience
My husband and I have had dogs most of our lives. My family raised and bred shelties. We love teaching old (and new) dogs new tricks. When your pet is with us they will be loved and cared for like they are part of our family. We have a very large fenced in back yard that has been known to wear even the most energetic puppies out. After they have fun chasing squirrels out of the back yard, they can come inside and curl up on a lap, couch, or doggy bed. Our son loves taking pictures, so you will receive plenty during your dogs stay.

Michelle and Justin were excellent hosts. They took great care of both pups, consistent but not overwhelming updates + they have a great big yard for the pups to run around in.
Michelle and Justin did a great job watching Buckeye. We were in town for a funeral and it was a big help to drop her off and not have to worry.
Michelle and Justin and their son did an excellent job taking care of Bengi for the night! He came home happy and they sent pictures and texts during his visit! They agreed to a meet and greet before hand in order to ease our minds on where we were leaving him. They have a large backyard fenced for him to play.
They are excellent! Michelle walked me through several process and changed my date and times around for me. Our dog was so worn out from having fun I doubt she wanted to come home. Please use them if you want a great space and family feel for your dog when you are away!

We have a large fenced in yard. We don't currently have any pets in our home, but we have several neighbors with dogs that love to run the fence line with other dogs. We do have a child in our home, so our home is kid and pet friendly.

Let me know if any special circumstances or requests for your pups ahead of time so we can prepare for their stay. This includes things like diet, medications, allergies, disposition, or anything else you think would make their stay safe and enjoyable. Other things that are helpful to know could be where the dog usually sleeps? Do they counter surf? Do they get anxious about thunderstorms? Do they respond to their name or do they respond to nicknames better?
A typical day
Having a dog lovin' 4 year old that enjoys teaching dogs new tricks and playing fetch as much as we do really helps give dogs plenty of exercise. We also enjoy family walks (this includes 4 legged family members) around the block. If that isn't enough, our big back yard full of squirrels is sure to wear out even the most energetic pups.

Availability
I am a stay at home mom to an animal loving 4 year old. We are home all day most every day with the exception of trips to the store or preschool drop off/pick up. We are available most weekends.
