Pet care experience
I got my first dog when I was 6 or 7 and sadly, she passed away when I was in high school, and I got her cremated. During that time, I also had bunnies, hamsters, and cats. I have had cats throughout my entire life and currently I have a 7 y/o Pomeranian and two cats (1M & 1F, both are fixed) who just turned 3.

I always try to be as generous and fair in reviews as possible, however I feel the need to honestly disclose to other people my experience. My dog was able to escape about 3 hours after I dropped her off with Michelle due to the front door being left open. Michelle was unable to locate her. I WAS notified about 10 minutes after it happened, and she communicated with me for the next few hours and also contacted Rover to notify them. She did go out and look for her after it happened, however I’m not sure for how long. I did not hear from her at all the next morning, until I contacted her myself to let her know that my dog had been found by someone who reached out to me because he saw a Facebook post I made. I feel the only rating I can give is one star because of the fact that my dog was able to escape before she even spent a single night. My dog is 12 years old and has never run away from someone’s house before. It was easily preventable and could have ended horribly due to the house being located between two busy roads. While I appreciate the quick action after it happened, I can not say anything else regarding the quality of her stay.
Michelle was great with Boston. He had a lot of time to run around her back yard. We don’t have one, so he loved being leash free. I would definitely use her again, when I’m visiting in the area.

I would need to know how your dog reacts towards smaller dogs. Although if my dog had any issues or was uncomfortable around a dog I was sitting, I would have her stay in my sister's room, which she does most of the time anyway. I would like to know the dog's schedule, are they really active during the day, do they lounge around and sleep all day, is there a feeding schedule, etc. The more information, the better.
A typical day
I'll take them outside and throw around a tennis ball or squeak toy, maybe throw a stick that's fallen from a nearby tree. Or we can go for a brisk walk around my subdivision.

Availability
I am currently unemployed, so my schedule is VERY flexible. My Pomeranian goes outside, in our fenced in backyard, every 2-5 hours. Sometimes I will leave her outside for a few minutes, if the weather permits, so she can get some fresh air and enjoy the sun. She gets a bath and blow dry atwast once a month. My cats are low maintenance and they absolutely LOVE being outside. I don't trim their nails as often as I used to because I want them to be able to defend themselves while they're outside.
