Pet care experience
Katherin and I, have been pet owners for over 4 years now. We both have a passion for cats and dogs and aspire to foster homeless pets when we live together. We currently care for one 9 month old kitten whom we cared for since birth (We fostered the girl kitten until we found her a good home). Cleaning litter boxes, playing fetch with hair ties, and giving Stormy neck scratches is our specialty. Katherin owns a loving 8 year old shih tzu by the name of Michael, whom she trained by herself at the age of 12. "I am patient and caring and believe there is no such thing as a bad dog, they are simply misunderstood." We both have experience handling small and large dogs, we love giving dogs the freedom to “walk us” and let them choose their own path; all while regarding their safety and abiding to rules of course.

Before sitting a dog I would like to know their personality. For example if a dog is anxious around strangers I would take them to less populated areas to make them feel comfortable. I would like to know a dog’s likes and dislikes to better suit your dog’s needs. I wouldn’t want to misinterpret your dog’s actions and give him/her improper care. I have no breed preferences and are open to any dog breed and age.
A typical day
When going on a walk I will consider going to a local park with your dog. I know dogs love having the freedom of an open space and need a break from the concrete jungle that is NYC! For high energy dogs I often let them walk me, while being aware of their safety of course. I have no problem running with dogs and playing fetch.
