Pet care experience
I love being part of Rover and have been since Fall 2015. I use to have my own puggle pup when I lived at home and have cared for numerous pets around Seattle in the last 6 years. Between 2016 and 2018, I had a few repeat clients that needed me every few weeks, therefore I took my name off the active search and committed to those few dogs. I then took a hiatus from Rover in 2019 and 2020 (living abroad and of course, COVID) but I'm joining again because I love dogs and hope to have one of my own someday soon. Until then, I am looking for new clients and would love to care for your pets!

So great to have Michelle look out for my chickens. They were really taken care of well even in the cold front we had.
Michelle was great! This was the first time I’d left my dog with someone who wasn’t a friend or family member and Michelle was super communicative and sent a lot of updates. She was flexible with my scheduling needs and when I got home my dog was happy and well exercised, and my apartment looked great.
I have a complicated set up at my house with 6 chickens and 2 older and very senior dogs. Michelle house sat for me and did a beautiful job. My plants, dogs and chickens are very happy!

I usually book for overnight stays in your home. Not only am I a very respectful and trusting guest in your home, I like to make sure you pet feels comfortable with me in their home. That's why I like to meet your pet beforehand in their space. I do my best to leave your space better than when I first arrived.

I would like to know how they interact around other dogs. How would they act when they encounter another dog on a walk? Do they like dog parks?
A typical day
I love the parks and especially jogging. If I can, I'd love to take your dog on a few runs with me! On weekends, if pre-approved with you, I would also love to take your dog on a hike. Otherwise our activities would include walks around the neighborhood and going for swims at the local beaches.

Availability
I live in Capitol Hill and work in the Fremont/Wallingford neighborhood and have a car, so I can generally be flexible about my location. I work a typical 9-6 job, but with my car, I am generally available before 9am, around lunch time, and after 6 pm for dog walks and check-ins. I cannot wait to meet your pup!
