What makes me different? First, I firmly believe that dogs feel, think, and have likes and dislikes, just like us! I treat them as people and give them lots of love and attention. Second, dogs are my lifeline and my passion. If I weren't a librarian, I would be working with dogs full-time! I want to give back just a little what my dogs, and all dogs, have given to me in terms of love, support, affection, and companionship. I currently have two small dogs of my own. I have been approved by two rescue agencies as to my ability to care for dogs and can provide you with a reference from Rescued 'N Ready and/or my vet if you'd like. I have also been volunteering as a dog walker with Animal Humane NM for a few months now and I absolutely love it. I am getting a special fondness in my heart for pit bulls and pit bull mixes!
