After working for two years in a large doggy daycare (100+ dogs a day) in Jersey City, NJ, I moved to Phoenix and began Rover hoping to make some four legged friends. After working in the doggy daycare, I started to have my own clientele for dog walking and sitting which worked best with my schedule at the time while I was earning my BS. My experience working with dogs is mostly in dog walking and sitting. I also have a background of working with dogs with behavioral issues -- at varying levels. I like showing animals that I care for them and developing strong, trusting, relationships with all the animals I meet. I like to have fun with dogs, show them overwhelming love, as well as develop a relationship around education and training. At home, I have 3 dogs of my own (all foster fails), and 4 rescue cats. We have a feisty chihuahua min-pin mix named Luna Lovegood, a boxer hound mix with severe fearful aggression of strangers (only the human kind, he looooves dogs) named Benedict Cumberbatch, and a living stuffed animal of a dog (who is my first dog) named Thurston Howell III. My dogs have taught me so much through their varying personalities, as well as the over 150 dogs I knew in Jersey City. At the time I am currently a middle school dean in Newark, therefore I am unavailable on weekdays for mid-day walks and drop-ins. Weekends, evenings and mornings on weekdays, holidays and summer vacation (~June-July) I am available.
