Hi! Michelle and Cliff here! If you are reading this, then we would love to take care of your pets when you are away! We have been caring for animals for quite sometime and have experience with many different pet needs! We are both dog trainers so we know how to handle difficult cases, and do so with love and care. (don't worry, one of us is always with the dogs that are boarding with us) We truly love working with animals every day and only wish we had more space to accommodate even more creatures! We hope to get to take care of your little (and/or big) ones and give them the love and care they need to feel safe and comfortable while you're away. We won't just keep your dog fed, we will love them and make them the center of our whole world while they stay with us. This was the first time my dogs have been boarded with a complete stranger and they did not acclimate well, unfortunately. Michelle and her husband were absolutely amazing with them and did everything they could to adapt and comfort them. Michelle was in constant contact with me and updated me on any issues and how they were doing.
I had never met Michelle before we booked our stay. She was very kind and put my unease to rest when we set up a meet and greet before the actual dates. They love what they do and it shows in the way they interact and communicate. Michelle kept me updated on my puppy while we were away. Sent videos and pictures. I felt comfortable knowing my puppy was in good caring hands.
Michelle was amazing! We needed a last minute sitter for new years eve and she was more then welcomed to watch our dog. Great communication, provided us with video and pictures throughout our dogs stay. I highly recommend her and would definitely have her watch our little guy again.
Michelle went above and beyond of what was required. My dog was able to improve her social fear thanks to Michelle, and we returned to a happy dog. For sure we’ll seek her services in the future.

We host dogs in our own home and have about 1/2 an acre of space completely fenced in. Within this area we have fenced off a few different areas for dogs who need space from others. Your dog won't be in a cold kennel all day and night, instead they will get to hangout in our home and play with the other dogs here(or not, their choice). We can even give them their own room if they need it. All dogs will be supervised when they are here and we will give you picture and video updates throughout their stay :)

A typical day
Being trainers we have quite a few different things we employ to keep your dogs occupied throughout the day. Apart from the many toys that are in every area of the house and outside, we also have a mini agility course and quite a few doggy puzzles that can keep the extra energized pups focused for a while.

Availability
Pet care is all we do at Happy Tails. It is our whole life here. We start our day going out back and letting everyone go potty, then get everyone fed and then the day consists of whatever the dogs want... play, cuddle, sleep, repeat!
