Work from home/large fenced yard

Pet care experience

Our family was a foster family for a rescue for several years. Our furkids are used to visiting dogs and we have a large fenced in yard. Walks and even runs are a speciality along with basic training if needed. So if you just need help getting your dog more manageable on your walks, then I can help! We have dogs and cats and have fostered countless dogs and puppies. As a foster we trained the puppies or adults to be well socialized, to respond to basic commands and be highly adoptable. This was often quite a project with less than ideal backgrounds.. but we enjoyed it greatly. Now that we have moved to NC we are looking to continue the work by offering help to the general public.

Michelle was a foster mom for my furbaby Cloe. She was actively involved in our animal rescue before moving and was the "go to girl for all things dog". She is greatly missed! She is a natural with all animals and truly has a gift with even the most difficult of dogs. I would entrust her with any one of my family members, fur or not. I hope you get the opportunity to meet this incredible woman.

Michelle was a volunteer for me at our local SPCA. She took the dog walking as well as the volunteer training classes. She went above and beyond her duties by fostering dogs and cats, to walking the shelter dogs when she was able. Michelle is a dynamic person and will do an amazing job at caring for dogs. I have had several play dates (foster dogs and my own) with Michelle so she is very confident in dog behavior training and knowing what to look for in other dogs as they approach. Michelle is a very caring, kind person and she will do well in this capacity.

I have known Michelle C. for about 3 years. She has a friendly, calm demeanor, both with people and animals. You probably already know that she is the proud pet parent of quite a menagerie (I believe she is at 5 dogs, 6 cats, and at one time a ferret?) but she has also fostered for rescue organizations as well. In fact, I adopted my precious pups directly as a result of this relationship. Her genuine affection for animals enables her to be generous and loving while also training, gently yet effectively. She seems to have an innate understanding of what the dogs need and want. She was often recommended for the difficult cases, and was successful with troubled dogs, making them adoptable. I would not be surprised if your clients commented that their dogs returned to them better trained, better behaved, and more eager to please!

Prior to adopting Benny, Michelle was his third foster mother. Benny had been in homes with no structure or routines and the rescue group was afraid he was unadoptable. With Michelle's talent and expertise, Benny became a well-adjusted, well-behaved and affectionate pup. When animals are in her care, their every need is met. Through the years, I have watched Michelle foster and care for many dogs who went on to loving homes because she instinctively knew what each dog needed. I currently have 7 dogs and would be grateful to have Michelle care for them when needed.
