I’m a 50-year old mom, grandma, and teacher. Nurturing is a part of who I am. I’ve had my own pet and have looked after other’s pets for years. I love helping others with their pets. Hiring me as your pet sitter means your dog will be well- cared for and a top priority. I can board your pet in my home or I can come to your home. If you would like a reliable person to house-sit along with your pet, I can do that too. You need to know, I am a full-time teacher, but when I’m not working I am with your pet. I typically work from 7 am to 2:30 pm during the week, however I have always provided clients with the care we plan on together before and after work. That includes feeding and playtime, and even a walk both before and after work. If your dog needs medicine or grooming, that can easily be taken care of as well. I will give your pet the same care I have given other clients and my own dog who recently passed away. My house has a small fenced-in yard with a 6 ft fence and a small enclosed porch where your pet can be while I’m at work. Or, if you prefer, I can come to your home and care for your pet where it is more comfortable. No matter the location, I will give your pet the best care both before and after work.

Michelle took care of our two senior cats at our place while we were gone for several days. She fed them, watered them, cleaned litter, and cuddled them as much as they would let her, and sent me pictures with every visit. She kept a close eye on them since one of them has medical issues. All of this for a very reasonable price! Would book again!

We can schedule as many meet and greets as you want and you can tell me your care requirements. During those meetings, I will ask how your dog behaves with children, other dogs and strangers. While I won’t have children with me while caring for your dog and I only care for one client at a time, information is helpful for walks and going to dog parks. We might also walk a bit so I see how your dog is on a leash. About me, I have cared for senior dogs and dogs who need medicine, but I don’t have experience with dogs with special needs. However, I am willing to learn as long as you give me specific instructions and guidance.
A typical day
I love to go on walks in the neighborhood or a local park and go to local dog parks. If we are at my home, my yard offers opportunities to be outside off leash, and I have a basket of toys from my dog who passed away we can play with. Snuggling on the couch to watch tv is also fun. Belly rubs and butt scratches are always provided.
