Pet care experience
I have been an animal lover all my life... growing up with snakes, hampsters, turtles, cats, rats, bunnies and dogs. In the past, I have cared for my friends and families fur babies through word of mouth. I have also spent a great deal of time working with humane societies. I would love to accommodate you and your babies needs. I have been known for taking my pets on day trips to go hiking and adventuring in our state parks. I look forward to meeting you and your fur babies! I currently have a full time job during the week, however it is flexible. I typically work remotely from home 1-3 days a week. If you have any questions or concerns feel free to ask me! Michelle is a very awesome pet sitter! She took pictures of our dogs while we were away and listen to us on what our dogs are like and what they like! Michelle is a very kind person and you can tell she loves dogs! We will have her again for sure!
Michelle watched our 17 week old puppy recently, which was the first time for us leaving our pup! She did an amazing job keeping us in the loop, sending us pictures and updates. Since our dog is still a puppy he requires a bit more attention and time, in which we know he was in great hands with Michelle. We highly recommend her and will be using her again!
Michelle has been doing drop in visits for our two quirky aussies for a few weeks now and she has been awesome! She communicates well, is trustworthy, and sends a great update of her time with the pups.

I prefer to care for clients pets in their own home environment but I do also offer boarding. I find that pets are more comfortable in their own homes when their loved ones are away. I do have a medium sized herding mix who is 7 years old and accompanies me on some visits with approval and a meet and greet.

I would love to know more about your pup. Any allergies? Dinner rituals? Medications? Fears? Is your pup kennel/leash/potty trained? Sleeping arrangements? How often do they normally get potty breaks? Are they a fence jumper?
A typical day
I am a semi avid runner and have a harness for running with my own pup. Love taking pups out for day adventures in the state and national parks. More than willing to give your pup a bath if you want (just let me know), sometimes it is almost necessary after hikes.

Availability
I currently work full-time for Hennepin County with 1-3 of my days remotely from home. I am available most weekends and weekdays. I am able to provide flexibility with scheduling.
