Pet care experience
Hello! Working with pets has been a huge part of my life for the last 27 years. After receiving my diploma in Animal Science, I began working as a vet assistant/tech and did that for 9 years. Soon after I launched my own business pet sitting, aquarium service and grooming dogs and cats (16 years to date). I recently semi-retired from grooming and just focus on pet sitting and doing pet photography (photography is my second passion) I enjoy caring for dogs, cats, horses, and other live stock and have references that can be provided. My area of coverage varies and the map shown does not accurately portray that. Typically it depends on what services you need, but I try to use the town of Bedford as my center point versus my home. Please inquire even if you don't fall with in the map coverage! I currently have a growing small farm of 4 dogs- Pug, Cattle dog mix, and two 8 m old Great Pyrenees pups , 8 cats, and 3 goats with more goats and sheep on the way! Thanks for reading!

Michelle bathed and groomed my sheltie, Brandy until her death. She currently picks up my sheltie, Ginger, transports her to her house, bathes and grooms her, and brings her back home monthly. Brandy loved Michelle, and didn’t want her to leave when she was finished; Ginger feels the same about her! She does an excellent job, and has always been punctual and very flexible in making monthly appointments that suit my schedule. She always appears to have boundless energy! Michelle is a knowledgeable dog person. She has dogs of her own and also is a dog groomer. She pays attention to detail and the environment around her, keeping her on her toes. She is compassionate and kind. She is reliable and high in integrity. I highly recommend Michelle for dog walking and any kind of pet or home sitting. She is well versed in farm animals as well as the home pets.

My priority is safety, for both myself and your pet. I would want to know any fears, or issues the dog (pets) might have. While I have no breed preferences, I prefer not to work with dogs that ill-mannered ( like a 100 pound dog that has no leash manners, or a little dog with an aggressive attitude unless you are willing to pay my medical bills when said little one bites me.) I want your pets to like me and their experience, but I do understand certain special needs that may cause a grumpy pup due to illness or chronic pain and that's OK and different from a dog being aggressive.
A typical day
I consider myself a very active person and enjoy walking, hiking, running. So if your pup is active and likes these activities then I can accommodate! However I am not opposed to chilling on the sofa or dog bed if your fur friend would rather just snuggle and sit on my lap. I'm flexible that way :)
