I am an animal lover. I am the person that always says hello to your dog when we meet and makes a shoe box nest for an injured squirrel or bird. In addition to dog walking and pet sitting I also volunteer for out of state rescue organizations doing local home visits. I match pets with parents and help with transport whenever I can. I love the feeling of placing an orphaned pet into a loving home. We currently have 2 dogs in our family, Sadie a borador (border collie/lab mix) that we adopted from a family that didn't have enough time for her and Ack a lab mix rescued from the south after his mother died from a snake bite. Ack got his name from his "mugshot" (initials for Animal Control Kennel) but his name totally suits him and we didn't even consider changing it.
