Dogs and their owners will love the way I aim to make them feel safe and secure through consistent (and fun!) communication. My attention to detail, and my ability to modify my approach based on the unique needs of each pet family helps ensure a high level of safety, comfort, and fun for your pups while you are away. Over the past 15 years I have gained a wide scope of experience with many breeds and needs- such as dogs with separation anxiety, medical concerns, and special socialization requirements. I am pet CPR & first aid certified and I've even helped deliver puppies on a few occasions! When I'm not pet sitting I like to garden, paint, and play ROLLER DERBY! As a person, I’d describe myself as joyful, creative, and perceptive. My personality informs my approach to dog sitting-- so you and your pup can expect a lot of compassion and a lot of fun.

Michelle is the BEST! She sent us pictures daily, and my pups LOVED her. Our older dog Bella is nearly 12 years old and very shy around strangers. She often goes under the bed and won't come out. Not with Michelle! They became fast friends, and the happy pictures of walks and playing eased my mind while traveling. I highly recommend Michelle!
Michelle is an incredible sitter! Oliver has seizures and I have never been more comfortable leaving him! The pictures were awesome she sent and totally made me feel that he was in the best care!
Michelle was a wonderful house sitter for my dog, and I would gladly have her dog-sit for me again in the future. She was responsible, organized, reliable, managed a complex schedule of feeding and medications with ease, sent me photos and updates multiple times per day every day, answered any messages I sent her quickly, and showed my dog lots of love, attention, and care.

A typical day
After speaking with the owners, I’ll construct a loose agenda that aims to meet your pup’s needs. Does your pup need an outlet for energy and lots of one-on-one attention? No problem — we can hike together, play frisbee in the backyard, or go to the park. Is your pup more of a Netflix and Chill kind of feller? Sounds great — I've got some tasty bones to chew on and a lap open and available to them for our Netflix binge. My open and flexible schedule allows me the ability to adapt to any situation.

Availability
I am currently finishing up my doctorate in occupational therapy, and have a flexible schedule that requires me to be onsite occassionally for a few hours each day. Largely, I am working behind the screen of my computer which frees me up to care for your fur babies!
