Pet care experience
I have been a dog lover all my life and had two four-legged pets while growing up (Biscuit and Maxwell) and of course...fish. Our furry four legged friend/child are creatures of habit and prefer to stay in their familiar surroundings, thus kenneling is not an option. While you are away, I will provide "paw-gress" reports and photos via email, or text, of your happy canine. Dogs are afraid of the dark too sometimes...they will feel safe knowing someone is there to make them feel comfortable.

I have known Michelle for the past two years. We met at Church and when my husband and I were planning a weeklong trip we arranged with Michelle to stay in our home with our two dogs. We were thrilled with the care she gave them. She sent pictures of them so we were assured that they were happy and well cared for. After we returned from our trip, she came and visited the dogs and they were overjoyed to see her! In fact, the alpha dog, Rita who is usually standoffish, contentedly sat beside Michelle during the visit and Bob, our other dog who loves everyone, was so happy to receive belly rubs from her! Michelle obviously loves dogs and I would be happy to recommend her as a loving and responsible house and dog sitter.

I'm comfortable with most breeds, but would like to know what type. I would like to know if a dog needs any form of medication (oral or injection); if their are any emotional issues, etc. More than one dog is okay but will need to know their sizes; additional fee may apply. I've administered oral meds and can be taught to administer injections.
A typical day
Neighborhood or park walks are always fun. For the active dogs, jogging or long walks can be done to give them opportunity to release that built up energy. Playing catch/fetch with their ball, stick, etc., is always a fun activity for them.
