Like almost all dogs, I enjoy car rides, fetch & long walks. That is only part of the reason why I love and get along with dogs. I’ve had my own dog for 8 years from a puppy until she passed. I cared for her when she got diabetes and eventually lost her eyesight. I missed being a dog owner, which brought me to dog walking. I’ve been walking other people’s dogs & becoming part of their pack steadily for 3 years. I have experience with basic training (i.e. basic commands, eliminate jumping up, coming when called/not running away when the door’s open, etc.) and proper leash walking for puppies and adult dogs. I believe old dogs CAN learn new tricks! I am skilled in building trust with dogs through play, affection and confidence. I have successfully trained dogs to walk with a lax leash and a diminished likelihood of lashing out/chasing after other animals (when on a lead).
