I have owned dogs for the past 20 years, adopted my last four dogs and recently lost my two beloved boxers. My house seemed so quiet—I can’t imagine my home without paw prints and toys and decided to start dog sitting while I figure out what pet to adopt next. Filling my home with a pup or two brings great energy to the house and I can’t imagine my life any other way! Finding dogs forever homes is important to me. In my spare time, I have worked with our local humane society, volunteering in marketing and fundraising to help each abandoned dog find the home and love he or she deserves. I also have a soft spot for senior dogs so if you have an older dog, a dog suffering from cancer, auto immune issues or palliative care, know that you have found a professional pet-sitter with a great deal of experience in this area, and who enjoys caring for these types of pups. I understand that each dog has unique needs and issues, and I am well-equipped to take on any canine challenge that comes my way. I offer unconditional love, eternal patience and compassionate discipline, and I have the experience to back it up! Previous clients would describe me as attentive, observant, loving, energetic and a go-with-the-flow kind of person. I can roll with whatever issue comes my way and do it with grace! If you approve, I’m happy to bring treats, and I always put myself on the dog’s level and let them trust me once they are comfortable. Finally, I work part-time, which allows plenty of time for pet-sitting. My schedule is flexible and can easily bend to your pet needs!
