Why I love dog sitting We've had dogs as long as I can remember. We've always taken in strays and rescues, so I'm used to animals that need some extra care or accommodations. Most of the dogs we've owned were large, working dogs, so I understand how important it is for them to stay active.

I like to spend some time with the dog and owner to get to know them. In addition to all the usual information, like feeding schedules and care instructions, I want to know about their personalities, if they have a bite history, and any behavior concerns. I'd also like to know if I can take them to the dog park or other public places, or if it's better to keep them at home. I don't have any breed preferences, but am more familiar with larger breeds.
A typical day
Time I'll spend with your dog Depending on the day of the week and owner preferences, I can spend from 2 hours to a whole day with your pet. Extra house-sitting services Of course! Minor services included at no charge.

With over 20 years experience caring for my own animals as well as those of family, friends, and neighbors, you can be confident that your furry friend will be in good hands. Not only will your pet be safe and supervised, I will take the time to get to know your pet and spend time interacting with them. Whether they prefer to be quietly petted, love a good game of chase, or need a little behavior training, I am happy to accommodate. I prefer to sit for dogs and cats, but would be open to caring for other large animals. I am especially good at addressing the special needs of rescued pets and those that require daily medication. More than just a sitter, I hope to build a lasting relationship with you and your pet and serve as your pet nanny for years to come.
