I had a mutt dog for 13 years. Few months before I moved permanently to the US, she passed away after 1 year fighting against a really bad disease in her kidney. When I was flying to the US, I read a article about the numbers of dogs there are euthanized every single day in the US. So, once my husband and I arrived in Atlanta, GA, we decided to rescue a dog.
