My name is Michele. I adore every single dog I meet, for the pure love and joy they are made of, to the hilarious, interesting and unique characteristics of each and every individual personality. I simply cannot imagine anything better than hanging out, walking, hiking, swimming, and relaxing with dogs. I have 30 years of experience with every breed, size, shape, and there is not a dog I meet that I don't instantly love. I do know a significant amount about different characteristics of different breeds, and will want to meet you and your dog and hear all about their interests and needs. I have a nice set up for any fosters in my rescue, which is completely separate from my house. I have a small, foster based rescue. I have several of my own dog friendly dogs. I am fully available all weekends, starting at 5 pm on Friday, through Sunday at 5 pm. I like to take walks and I have a giant fenced in yard, gorgeous in-ground pool, and if your pup can swim, they are welcome to take a dip. I hike and spend the day in the yard, hanging out with the dogs. We will do fun and interesting activities throughout the weekend. The dogs who stay at my house will never be alone, and will be treated like my own. I will only have 2-3 pups at a time and we will go adventuring, while you are out having your own adventures/trips, etc. My career is stressful, and this is how I unwind and enjoy life. My daughter is heading to college and I am going to be an "empty nester." My house is very conveniently located in Guilford and I have baskets of toys, plenty of bowls, beds, leashes, crates if you would prefer your dog have access to a crate, and can give medication. I can also work on any issues your dog may have that you find troublesome. I am perfectly comfortable with any breed of dog. I have two well balanced dogs whom I share custody of,and they are sometimes at my house and sometimes with their dad. I also have been a dog rescuer for 30 years, and am well known in Connecticut for my work rescuing, training and advocating for dogs.
