Hi my name is Michele and I am the proud owner of a 10.5 year old female chow/shepherd mix and a 15 month old male Malinois/Shepherd mix. I am also a huge dog lover. I have experience with high drive working dogs and small lap dogs. Though my time is limited I would love to open my home to your loved one. For the first stay I would require a weekend where I am home all day to ensure your dog is comfortable in my environment. Once we get passed that I am comfortable with longer stays. I do work full time but come home at lunch and have pet cams to keep my eyes on your furkid. My dogs live a very structured life with a minimum of one hour exercise a day. Most weekend days that stretches to about three hours. That is full engagement with me. From fetch, training, tricks, to walks I make sure my dogs are mentally stimulated and exercised each day. We would love to welcome your furkid to our fun! Because I have a working dog I am also very used to a highly structured lifestyle. If you have special requests for language used, commands to be followed, or boundaries to be placed I have no problem complying. I have been known to actually have dogs go back better behaved after they stay with me. I love working with dogs and teaching them new things! I do have an apartment with no fenced yard but I am a firm believer in exercise doesn’t come from a yard but from full engagement with a human and training so never fear walks and fun will be part of the stay. In the summer months I am up by 4-5am to ensure this happens.
