Pet care experience
Dogs have been a part of my life since I was born. I lost my beloved 16 year old Zero last summer, and I would love to pass on some caring attention to your dog while you are gone. I know many dogs (especially seniors) feel more comfortable and secure in their own home, as my dog did in her later years. Having dealt with her and my past dogs' frailties (and messes!) as they aged, I would bring patience and compassion to your dog's care. I enjoy dogs of all ages too! My 2 year old grand dog Bo has spent the last two summers with me and watching him is a blast. We go on sniff-a-thon walks everyday and play lots of fetch and tug of war. I am recently retired from the school district and have lots of time to spend with your pets. I am also available to take care of your cats-I am currently under the spell of three!

Micki was AWESOME--replied quickly and suggested a pet store to meet up and then came to house to meet the dogs who loved her. She walked the dogs, fed them and gave them lots of love. I am so happy to find someone who I can rely on when I have to leave my two "boys" (who have never been boarded). You will not be sorry if you need someone to care and love your dogs!
I have known Michele for 15 years and has always been an animal lover. She is dependable and trustworthy. As I write this she is currently taking care of my cat while I'm out of town for five days. My cat loves when Michele does yoga and spends more quality time with her. Michele would be great taking care of all pets.

I would like to know the type of walks your dog likes, where in your neighborhood they like to go, and if they need any special assistance. Do they like other dogs? Is there anything they need to avoid? Are they okay with other dogs/people coming up to them on a walk? What can I do to make your dog feel comfortable and secure when I visit?
A typical day
I will come to your house and walk your dog at whatever pace they like. I know some dogs enjoy a leisurely stroll with plenty of time to stop and sniff, and some dogs just want to go! Any other type of play your dog wants, or just snuggling on the couch, or a good long, belly rub- just let me know what they like. If your senior dog needs a little help with stairs, and a gentle touch, I will provide that too. I will also feed and spend time with your kitties, giving them as much play and attention as they allow me to.
