I've been a Rover sitter since 2013. I have a fenced backyard, a large home, and lots of love to give to your dog! I work full-time as a Veterinary Assistant, with the ability to come home and provide a potty break midday for my guest dogs. I live with my family and my Shih Tzu, who rules us under her little paws. I love to take my dog hiking in our local forest preserves in my spare time, and I’d love to bring your dog along with us on our adventures with your permission! I board up to 3 guest dogs at a time from different households. Dogs who love other dogs will have a great time here! _____________ My routine: Overnight, the dogs can sleep in my bedroom, the couch, or in their crate. Safety for your dog is my #1 priority. Dogs from different families are separated with baby gates or crates (if you prefer) when I leave the house. When guests are riding in my car, they can ride in my crash-tested car kennel, or a harness with seatbelt. _____________ My experience: I have experience with a broad range of dogs. I have watched young puppies, elderly dogs, dogs with physical disabilities (blind, deaf, injuries), dogs of all shapes and sizes, and multiple dogs at once. _____________ My yard: We have a fenced-in yard with plenty of space for potty breaks and playing. We also have a plastic pool for cooling off in the summer. Time outside in the yard is always closely supervised.
