I had my own pet services business for a 7 years and decided to return to Rover for the security of insurance. I was with Rover since 2/2014 but I have experience and loving fur babies for 20 years. I have experience with administering medication, including injections. I want you all to know that you are putting your Fur Baby in Loving, Trusted, Mature Hands, and they will be treated with loving care like I treat my Joey! I am a Hugger and Head Kisser! I've found that most Fur Babies love the attention!, especially belly rubs! Fur Babies are my life! I served in the Air Force for 8 years! I was a Cosmetologist for 20 years, and a Personal Care Assistant to the elderly and disabled for 3 1/2 years. Helping Animals and the Elderly give me a life that has meaning. For the pass 3 years I took care of my grandson for 50 hours a week. He now goes to school full time! My rescue dog Joey was ceased from a home in GA., they sent him to Fairfax, where I adopted him. The day after I brought Joey home he started having seizures! They failed to let me know! I give Joey medication twice a day! Joey is my baby, he sleeps on my bed and sits on the sofa next to me! I bought professional clippers and groom Joey! I love taking him for walks every day because he loves to go! I've taken care of my sons friends dogs! That was fun, I had the dogs sleep on my bed, thank goodness that I have a Queen size bed. I also cared for my son's cousins dog in our home! I had two German Shorthair Pointers, father and son, the father, Boone developed cancer. With help from my sister, We put together an Organic homemade diet with supplements, which extended his life. When Boone passed over the Rainbow Bridge, a few years later Murdoc, the son also got cancer. I was able to extend Murdoc's life to a few years instead of a few months that the Vet. told us he would. I have had dogs, cat, guinea pigs and even chickens! I syringe feed two of my guinea pigs when they became ill from old age! I will take photos and text them to you! I will also text you information like when feed, when administered medication, if pooped and any concern that I may notice! Please let me know where and when we can have a Meet and Greet!
