I've been an animal lover for my entire life. My family has always had amazing dogs and cats, and I've gotten to be a big part of every stage of life-- I'm very familiar potty training and puppy classes, to diaper changing and extra assistance for the senior buddies! My mom is a veterinarian, so as a kid I grew up dressing up in tiny scrubs and spending my summers in her clinic. I was eager to learn and also meet all the animals! I even got to work there for a couple of summers when I was in college. In addition to clinical animal experience, I've pet sat for neighbors, family, and family friends-- caring for sugar gliders, bunnies, guinea pigs, toads, a lizard, cats, puppies, and multiple adult dogs. I have a young golden retriever, named Ellis. Its been a lot of fun doing obedience classes with her, but even more fun taking her to the dog park and on as many adventures as I can! I'm an active person and love running, walking, and exploring nature-- especially with a fluffy friend by my side!
