I’ve had dogs since I was born. I started helping take care of my first dog as young as I can remember, because it brought me joy to care for him and have him care for me back. I’ve felt the same ever since. I’ve done dog sitting, and dog walking on and off for a lot of my life. I’m comfortable administering medication, as one of my own current dogs requires daily oral medication. I’ve also dog sat for dogs in the past who needed daily injections, that I’m comfortable doing also. I have three dog loving dogs of my own, so I do offer dog boarding at my house. I have no problem bathing pets either. I’ve never had a dog who likes baths, so I’m used to the potential struggle lol. I love dogs so much, and my dream is to open my own doggy day care in the hopefully near future. We felt very comfortable with leaving our dog for two full days and nights with Michele . She sent us pictures of her throughout her stay . She was super sweet and truly loves dogs .

I have a fenced in yard, with enough room for running around. They will never be left alone outside unattended. I have 3 big dogs that absolutely love dogs of all shapes and sizes. My two largest are very cautious and gentle with small dogs and puppies. My youngest dog is only 6 months and still learning, but he loves to play. There is AC inside, and I make sure the dogs take breaks throughout the day when it’s hot. Dogs are allowed on the couches and the bed. If your dog sleeps in bed with you at home, they are more then welcome to sleep in bed with me here. My dogs are not territorial and are happy to share and cuddle. If your dog gets territorial let me know, and my dog’s will happily sleep in their own beds while your dog is here. Also if you don’t allow your dogs on the furniture at home, please let me know, I don’t want to create bad habits for you to deal with when they go back home. I am home full time to give your dogs my full attention. However, if there is any emergency or reason that I would need to leave home while your dog is here, I’m set up to be able to have the dogs separated, so as not to risk anything unexpected happening. I also have an indoor camera to monitor them.

A typical day
My dogs love spending a lot of the day outside with me, playing with each other and whatever dog friends are here. It’s very likely your dog will sleep well after spending the day here. Other activities depend on the personality of the dog. I’ll take long walks, runs on the beach, play fetch etc, if the dog wants to. I have a kiddie pool and sprinkler for dogs who love to splash around in the water. There is also always two full large bowls of water outside for them, and a 3 gallon jug inside. For lower energy dogs shorter walks or just playing outside/inside & lots of cuddles are great too.

July & August my schedule is open to focus on dog sitting. I work a flexible job during the school year from 7:20-4:20, typically with a long break midday.
