Pet care experience
I've always had dog(s) in my household since I was a little girl. I've seen them all, hyper dogs, lazy dogs, mean dogs, social dogs, and dogs that think that they're human. In my experience in dealing with all of these personalities I've noticed one trait that is essential in dog-care, patience. Patience is something that I have no shortage of, I've seen it all. Trust me, I've seen the nitty, the gritty, and the nasty...nothing can scare me away. In terms of my tangible experience, I've logged an immense amount of hours volunteering at animal shelters, fostering rescues and pet-sitting for various friends and family. I currently have one resident dog in the house, a pug that gets along great with all dogs.

Michele did an excellent job looking after our dog while we were on vacation for a week. She read and followed the long document I gave her, and every day she updated what happened that day with detailed notes, times, and pictures. She was very understanding and patient with our dog who has anxiety issues and barking problems if overly stressed. If we ever need a sitter again I wouldn’t hesitate to book with her.

This was the second time my beloved Bichon of 15 years stayed at Michele's. Just like the first one ,Michele did everything possible to accommodate her special needs. Her own dog , Beast , is a sweetie and made my Isa feel even more at home, she really enjoys his company.

I do not crate my dog, and wouldn't crate your dog unless recommended when alone. I have cameras to watch the dogs when I do have to step out.

I have took care of dogs with special needs and owned a dog that was in a wheelchair and required meds daily. Both injections and eye drops.
A typical day
- I have a lot of toys! Please leave your own toys at home, because the other dogs here will likely destroy them. - I have extra dog beds for the overnighters (although it's advisable that you bring your own to introduce familiar smells if your dog is nervous away from home) - I have extra crates of all sizes available upon request to save you the hassle of transporting it if your dog uses one. Please let me know if your dog uses a crate - I have many extra dog bowls, you can leave yours at home for ease of packing - You are welcome to bring your dog's favorite treats if you'd like, or I do provide high quality, raw, grain/gluten/antibiotic-free Stella and Chewy's treats during their stay with your permission.

Availability
I work full time, but I am fully remote. I will follow the routine provided in your care instructions. My schedule is very flexible and will be able to accommodate any routine.
