Pet care experience
NW Portland. Experienced pet sitter and walker. I’ve been around and had dogs since childhood but unfortunately I can’t commit full time to owning a pet of my own due to certain circumstances. Over the recent years after being asked many times by friends and family to pet sit I realized it was something I was pretty good at and really enjoy doing. So here I am! I absolutely love all animals and will treat yours as if they were my own. I have experience walking and sitting small, medium and large dogs. Puppies and seniors. Medication administration experience.

Michele watched my very anxious little girl, Tilly, for a few days when my brother got married. It was Tilly's first overnight stay away from me. Michele kept me informed of how Tilly was doing and sent some cute pictures to put me at ease.
I highly recommend Michele as a sitter for your pup! She watched my senior dog Nala for a few days while I was on a trip and it was my first time using River services. She made the whole process so seamless and easy. Her communication was great, she sent me photos, and honestly she just has such great energy! Nala is usually very suspect of strangers at first and she was totally comfortable around Michele from the start. When I picked Nala up, it was the most relaxed and happy I’ve ever seen her. I’ll def be using Michele again the next time I go out of town!
Michele took great care of our dog for 2 nights. She put him at ease right away, followed his medicine and food routine closely, and even did some training exercises to help him feel comfortable in a new space. Michele’s presence is calm and steady, she clearly cares about the dogs who stay with her, and she was quick to respond before and during his stay. Mochi came home in a relaxed mood so we know he was in great hands! We’re already looking forward to next time!
We have an energetic and anxious dog. Michele was great! We picked him up tired and happy! Highly recommend.

I will strictly adhere to your instructions but a typical day will consist of several walks and playtime and lots of love. I usually walk every two hours and live in a very dog friendly neighborhood.
