Rover will not let me give ZERO stars!! There are not enough words to describe the disappointment and breach of trust we experienced with Michayla! We met with Michayla twice and never suspected she would mishandle our dog like she did! We booked her to house sit from June 16th-20th we fired her the first day! We left for vacation put our dog in her kennel Michayla arrived at our house around 2pm took 4 pictures then put Millie back in the kennel and left at 2:56 pm. By 8pm Michayla had not returned to the house even though she had told me once she arrived, she would be here for the rest of the day/evening. Basically, she left our dog in her kennel for 11 hours on the first day and she said quote "I lost track of time". You are caring for people's animals, and you can't keep up with time? She had no intentions of returning to our house that night. Our outside camera told it all plus she turned our A/C down 10 degrees and left. After speaking with her on the phone Thursday night her story of why she was gone changed THREE times so how can she be trusted!!! The reason her reviews say the house looks the same as you left it is because she doesn't stay there, but charges you the house-sitting rate. Of course, we did not expect her to stay 24/7 since she has another job But she knew how long Millie had been in her kennel and had no heart at all to put her back in for another 5 hours. If I had not contacted her no telling how long Millie would had been in her kennel before being let out! We gave instructions if she needed to leave for an emergency to call or text me. What's odd to is she never gave us her work schedule so we would had known when she would be staying at our house. BEWARE if you book with Michayla don't fall for the act!!!
