Spayed and Neutered Dogs
No Females in Heat
Crate-Trained Dogs Only
We are always totally comfortable bring Pecan here. We are confident she will be well tended while in Michal's care. She also has a particular fondness for Ben! Pecan is always happy to arrive and, although very excited to see me for pick-up, she does not want to leave. She wants me to stay there with her!
It was like leaving our baby with family. And we have a great family. What more can I say!
Love taking my dog here!
Farm with Lots of Space to Play!
I have been a dog owner and sitter since I was a teenager. After moving to the farm we started up our Rover profile since we have such a lovely space for dogs but don't have one of our own yet. I have experience with little dogs as well as larger dogs. I have done long-term dog-sitting (3 months+) as well as short-term (1-2 nights). I do have some experience with administering animal medications.
What Michal would like to know about your dog
I would like to know the breed, their activity level and whether or not they are crate trained. We generally only take crate-trained dogs although we have made exceptions in the past. We mostly want to make sure that your pup has a smooth and easy transition to a new space. I have a (very dog-friendly) cat so I would like to know if your dog has experience with cats. If your dog has medical concerns or particular allergies I would like to be aware of them and depending the complexity of medical administration this may slightly effect rates.
Our yard is unfenced and I always keep dogs on leash unless both the owner and myself are comfortable with them being off-leash. That being said, I would like to know if your dog is a runner (will take off out of sight if given the chance) or if he/she doesn't respond to the "come" command. If your dog is trained off-leash, let us know! We love to give well-trained dogs off-leash runs in the fields as nothing makes them happier. :)
