Note: Rover is constantly trying to improve your experience with the site and our sitters. As they navigate this process sometimes changes are accidentally made to my set rates. If something seems amiss please feel free to contact me. I also do discounts for multiple pets in the same home. Also there seems to be a few glitches recently so to help avert any confusion. From Burien: I will drive up to 10 miles for daily Drop In Visits I will drive up to 30 miles for In Client Home Visits of 3 days or longer. I will drive up to 100 miles for In Client Home Visits longer then 1 week. If it out of the 100 mile radius, out of state, or a travel sitting/pet nanny, client is responsible for transportation and/or travel costs. I am experienced in sitting in remote & isolated locations. If you have a special request feel free to reach out and I will have it cleared through Rover. I've worked in the pet care field for 25 years. Animals tend to gravitate towards me. I haven't met a critter yet that hasn't taken a liking to me yet. I have a passion for helping and nurturing. I am comfortable with not only dogs, cats & birds but small mammals, reptiles, amphibians, fish, and small farm animals. Currently I tend to book out several months, however I do have rare last min cancellations so if you need Last Mintue pet care services, and there is enough time for a meet & greet, please do not hesitate to send me a request. I have my Rover.com notifications sent to my phone. However please be aware that Rover.com will only send messages between the hours of 7am & 10pm. Side Note: Rover loves to see pictures of our furry friends having fun, however if you would like photos of your furry pal sent to you and not published on Rover I will gladly send them to you via email or text. 25 years in pet care. 5 years in veterinary hospitals 5 years in kennels 2 years in grooming parlors 25 years house sitting experience BONUS: 6 years as a bakers assistant.. Most of my clients in the past have been employed by companies such as Microsoft, Boeing, Amazon, and the Gates Foundation. However I believe EVERYONE should have access to affordable, dependable, trustworthy pet care so in some instances I will provide care on a sliding fee scale. Simply inquire.

Michaela was amazing and clearly loves animals. She did an awesome job taking care of our 3 pets as well as the house. She's a very caring person and we knew our fur babies were in good hands!
Our dog is sweet once he lets his guard down, but it takes him awhile to warm up. Michaela went above and beyond to schedule multiple meet & greets with us so our dog could get comfortable with her ahead of her stay, and we are happy with her care of our dog while we were gone! Our pup was pampered the whole time. We are so appreciative of you, Michaela!

I am comfortable around all species and breeds. It's all about the personality. I do like to know: If there are any medications that need to be administered. Written instructions for administering medication. Any history of serious medical conditions I need to be aware of. Current Veterinary contact information. Allergies. Disclaimer: I have become disabled due to an accident, and can no longer go for long runs or walks, so if a long walk or run is in your pets routine I probably would not be the best fit. Short walkies are just fine. However even though I am unable to take pups for a jog, I AM able to spend time in your yard tossing around a ball/toys endlessly to our furry pals content. Rainy days are often enjoyed inside playing "treat or toy hide & seek." If it's a decent day, you do not have a yard, and it is within a proper distance I can even take them to my own fenced in back yard for a few hours of play time. If your pups usual routine involves helping you run errands, a ride in my spacious Kia Soul that is fully outfitted for the comfort & safety of both canine and feline friends, is often times the highlight of some of my furry friends day/week.
A typical day
I like to be sure the little buddies under my care are comfortable, and stay as stress free as possible i like to keep any routines they may have stable. So I like to know... Feeding schedule. Anything that easily startles your pet. Your pets quirky likes & dislikes. Since my services are tailored specifically to each pets needs, activities can vary.

Availability
I am available for full time in client home care most days. On the few days there are home games at Seahawks stadium I work a 5-8 hour shift. Which would be discussed before accepting the sitting to be sure it fits well your pets routine.
