I have been surrounded by dogs ever since a very young age, and I got my first dog, Harry, when I was 11 years old. Unfortunately, Harry had many health issues, such as diabetes and an enzyme deficiency, however, from that experience I learned how to take care of dogs with health problems and other little quirks. Additionally, I have cared for dogs of all varieties, ranging from small pugs to big pit bull/Rottweiler mixes. I am used to going on long walks and wearing out the higher energy, bigger dogs, and I am also used to conducting the appropriate exercise for smaller or lower energy dogs. My love of animals extends to dogs of all sizes and personalities. It is my goal when dog sitting to bring the dogs as much enjoyment out of the experience as I get. Dogs are the best friends out there! I live right by the M Street beach and am only a short walk away from Castle Island, as well as a dog park, so there a lot of nice options for walking routes nearby. I am also willing to travel further distances - whatever you and your pet would prefer. :)
