Growing up, I have always had a pet to take care of. I had a beautiful female German Shepard that I took care of every day. We would go on walks, I would monitor her eating (very picky) and would treat her like I would treat any of my siblings...as part of the family. As i got older I had the opportunity to overnight dog sit every month for a family friend. They had 6 Golden Retrievers that I would have to constantly watch over and play with. I realized how important it is for people to make their pets feel like family and not neglected when they are away. A couple of years ago one of my girlfriend's started up her own foster care for dogs and I saw how rewarding that was to make them feel as if they are family even if it is just temporary. I feel like this job is so rewarding and I absolutely love pets and would love to be a great addition to families that have busy work schedules/life schedules. I recently graduated college from the University of North Georgia and got accepted into Brenau's Occupational Therapy Master's program this upcoming Fall! I am a restaurant server right now which is the best, most flexible job while I am in school! I am also married and he loves dogs just as much as I do! Sometimes he pet sits with me which is awesome! My husband used to work at an Animal Hospital and has taught me a lot about dogs in general. I definitely will have the flexibility to take care of your animals and your needs to be happy and less stressed. I would not mind a set schedule and I also would not mind a spontaneous trip to the house for last minute date nights! If last option has us take your dog into our home, we do have a nice fenced in yard for the pups to run around in with 3 very friendly energetic doggies! We love taking our dogs for walks so that can also be an option as we have a very safe neighborhood to walk them in!
