Hi I’m Michaela! I had dogs my whole life growing up and have always enjoyed taking care of them. I finally got my own dog in February of 2020 named Ruger and he’s the light of my life. I have been professionally caring for dogs for 5 years on Rover and I have met so many amazing pups and owners. When I care for your furry friend, I do so as if they are my own and they become a member of my family. I love animals so much that I don’t even eat them, I am vegan. I recently just moved from Philly to Denver and am excited to meet new furry friends in the mile high city. My human clients are comforted by how reliable I am as well as my ability to cater to their needs. Feel free to ask any questions you may have!

Michaela did a great job taking care of my lab. She sent updates with pictures of them playing and having fun. Easy to coordinate and communicate with.
Michaela was awesome with Tiny..I was obviously nervous about leaving him but she made the effort to send me pics of him throughout the weekend which gave me peace of mind..Tiny had a blast without mom!
She did a great job and left a very detailed summary of her walk!

I treat my pet clients as if they are my own pets and always take extra care to make sure that they are always safe and attended for. I have experience working with dogs with behavioral issues as well such as reactivity so I am a pro at doing my best to avoid other animals on walks if needed.

A typical day
When I care for pets, I like to make sure that the dog’s time with me is similar to his or her typical routine. Since I have a fairly flexible schedule, I will be able to focus plenty of time on frequent walks, playtime, and attention. I also send lots of photos and updates to owners when I’m taking care of their animal. I’m focused on your pet having the most enjoyable experience possible.

Availability
I am currently in school so my time in the early weekday mornings is taken up by that, but I am free for walks and drop in visits during the afternoon, nights and weekends.
