I have experience working with a diversity of pets including cats, dogs, birds, chinchillas, rats, fish, and horses. I studied Behavioral Science at WMU and trained pets using operant conditioning techniques. I only believe in using LIMA (least intrusive minimally aversive) training methods. I will never use force to punish your animal. I currently work at Gillette Kennels, a dog daycare, boarding, and training facility in Galesburg, MI. I also have experience volunteering at KCASE through the Applied Animal Behavior Practicum at WMU. We used operant conditioning techniques to increase desired behaviors and increase adoptability of pets at the shelter. I had the opportunity to be a TA for the AABP one semester too! I am looking to continue a career in the field of applied animal behavior. If your looking for someone to spoil and pamper your pet while your away, then I am your girl!
