Hi there, I'm Michaela! I was lucky enough to grow up and become comfortable with an assortment of animals including cats, dogs, bunnies, fish, and hamsters. Along with my own pets, I volunteered with local rescue agencies and started a little dog walking business in my Grandma's senior living community. Throughout high school and college, I often housesat and cared for my neighbors' furry friends while they were away. As for my own pets, within weeks of picking up my childhood dog from the shelter, I had taught him sit, lay, stay, roll over, play dead, etc. I was even able to teach my cat to lay down and come.
