Pet care experience
I've owned several pets since I was a young girl. I have house and pet sat for many friends and coworkers on several occasions including for dogs, cats, birds, fish and turtles. I volunteer with The Street Dog Coalition, both out on the streets and also doing their national social media. To say I love animals is an understatement! I'm an artist who also creates pet portraits. In the past, I have worked in a Zoo setting in Omaha at Henry Doorly Zoo for several years and also volunteered as a docent.

I'm a leash girl, I prefer to walk your pets on a leash for safety reasons. If you have a fenced in yard, I'm delighted to stay and play outside with them if they like that. I defer to the pet for their likes and dislikes (I appreciate having all your expectations and emergency numbers at my finger tips for everyone’s safety and well being. Additionally, a written list of instructions and quirks is greatly appreciated so that I can give them the best level of care). I like to know your pet's medical history including if your loved one has separation anxiety so I can plan my departures and returns in the least stressful manner. I want to know your pet’s routine and how well they play with neighborhood pets and children so I’m aware of potential issues. Naturally, I want your vet's name and number in case of an emergency.

A typical day
I love taking dogs to their favorite places to check their pee-mail. As a standard operating practice, I always start out close to home, in their neighborhood for their first walks, and then as our comfort level grows together, we'll venture a little further (with your permission of course!).
