I've had a love for animals my entire life. Growing up, I was the child that laid on the floor with my pup when she wasn't feeling well, now I'm the adult that goes to work eagerly at an animal hospital because I'm passionate about pet care. I'm currently working on my Bachelors degree in Marine Biology, and debating on pursing Vet school in the future. My house will be your pet's home away from home. I work full time at an animal hospital but my house is free reign to pets boarding with me, they will not be crated during their stay with me. During the day while I'm at work your pet will have access to enrichment puzzles to keep them entertained, when I arrive home it's time for evening walks and play! At my town home I have a fenced in yard, while your pet stays in my care my house is their house. Pets are allowed and encouraged to be on the furniture. When visiting a client's home the rules are up to the client, I'll follow guidelines they provide regarding their home and their pet. The most important thing to me is that the pet is comfortable.

Michaela was very easy to work with from scheduling a meet and greet, dropping off and picking up. I had no concerns about leaving our dog with Michaela. We could enjoy our Thanksgiving vacation without any worries about the care Bella was receiving. Michaela sent pictures and was always quick to respond to any texts. I would not hesitate to use her again to care for Bella or to recommend her to others who want to be sure their dog is well cared for.
Michaela has loved animals her entire life. She has never thought of pups as animals but they are family. Puppy hugs and kisses are her favorite things in the world.

Any information is good information, but here are some of my must knows! - Is your dog food aggressive? - I like to know this so I can provide their meals safely away from other pets, so your pet is comfortable at meal time. - Is your pet good with other pets? - I have a dog and cat of my own, a meet & greet will ensure all pets remain safe during their visit! -What veterinarian do you prefer? - In case of incident I want to ensure your pet receive the best possible care. - Does your pet have any dietary restrictions - I like to know this so I can avoid giving treats that may cause GI upset for your pup! - Is your pet on medications? - I can administer medications during your pet's stay.
A typical day
On a day when I work at the hospital, I'll get up early to walk and feed your pet. I provide puzzles and toys to keep your pet entertained while I'm at work. When I arrive home it's time for evening walks, dinner and play time! On a day when I'm off work, I'll get up as usual to walk and feed your pet then it's a day of cuddles and play, followed by evening walks and dinner before bed!
