I have been taking care of dogs for many years, since I was a boy and I got my first Black Labrador, Charlotte. I have owned several dogs in my life, and have also had a dog with special needs. This means that being ready to handle epileptic seizures without warning, as well giving medication multiple times per day has become second nature for me. I also have formal training in the medical field (non-veterinary), which allows me to generally assess the dog's current state of well-being and identify any warning signs that may present themselves. It's unlikely that any dog in my care will ever need medical care, but you can rest easy knowing that your loved one will be in excellent hands. Additionally, I am very good at quickly building rapport with any new dog that I meet. This is excellent in situations where the dog is put into a new setting or household, if only temporary, as they would be when they first arrive at my place. I live in a nice single-building apartment with electronic key fob access for security, but also has plenty of green space for walks.
