Pet care experience

I grew up with 13 cats, 7 dogs, and a couple horses. I have owned pets at every age of my life and currently have an 11 year old pug (Appa) and a 3 year old Bernedoodle (Poppy); both of which I have had since they were puppies. My first dog lived with diabetes until he was 16 so I am experienced with giving medicine and caring for elderly pets. I live in High Point and I am happy to come walk, jog, or otherwise check in on your pets! I am also happy to board other friendly dogs if they're ok playing with Poppy for a few days and being ignored by Appa.

Mike watched our puppy for the first time for both us and our puppy for a quick weekend away. He asked good questions up front, helped prepare us on what we should bring and made drop off really easy and removed all anxiety immediately. His space is really set up for dogs. He’s got a spot out back for them to potty but he also walked our Bear a ton. Bear being a new puppy was pretty potty trained but when he was in a new situation the first day he had some accidents. Mike 100% took care of everything, let us know how the potty situation was going and didn’t make us feel bad for our baby boy having some mistakes. He also let us know he didn’t have any accidents the rest of the trip. Our dog is cuter than his dogs (I’m biased obviously) so of course Mike loved our pup. We Will absolutely use him again in the future!

Michael is a great sitter. He took great care of my elderly dog with specific needs and made sure to update me with pictures and status updates. He was very flexible and understanding when my travel plans suddenly changed due to canceled and rebooked flights. His place is clean and setup well for dogs with toys and beds for them. I would highly recommend him and would certainly use him again.

I have a small patio where my dogs are allowed to potty occasionally, but generally we go on 3-4 walks a day in my neighborhood, and occasionally Poppy and I will go for a run together. I have plenty of room for a crate if that's where your pets likes to sleep, otherwise Poppy sleeps in my bed and leaves me very little space, but your dog is welcome too.

A typical day

I usually like to take Poppy up to the bee park near my house or down by the pond to see the ducks. Poppy also loves the dog park, but I know that's not every pet owner's cup of tea.
