A year ago I was a Dad to 7 dogs I loved dearly. Sadly, a divorce and a move to a condo that doesn't accept pets changed all that. I soon signed up to be a volunteer at a local shelter walking dogs to get my doggie fix. I have spent a least a week at friends house watching their dog while they were away on vacation. I work for Fedex going on 29 years and have met many dogs on my route needless to say! One of my customers gave us a Yorkie from her dogs litter when she was 7 weeks old. Sophie was our 2 dog and soon after my ex wife landed a job at a shelter and in no time we soon had 7 dogs. We adopted a senior dog who didn't have much time left we were told. We wanted to make her comfortable in her final days instead of dying in the shelter. It turned out she lived for 2 more years!
