Pet care experience
Throughout my Life, I have always enjoyed connecting with others, no matter how many legs or where their genetics came from. Personally, I have cared for dogs, cats, fish, and rodents; through volunteer/professional work as well as through personal experience. Currently, I have 2 dogs which provide immense joy to my life. For the past 2 years, I have been recovering from the 2 separate vehicles that have hit me while being a pedestrian. Walking my dogs has been paramount to my recovery. I wish I could stay at home all day going to the park, river, and walks; and I understand many also would like this and can not. Becoming a Rover member seemed logical, to do what I already Love while providing a service to those in need. Thank you

Michael is one of the most caring and compassionate pet owners I know. He has extensive experience with many kinds of pets, especially cats and dogs. He can help enforce training concepts and loves to just goof around with dogs. He understands special needs too through his experiences with his own pups.

Since I have had experience with dogs of all shapes/sizes/temperaments I do not have any preferences. My main concern is Activity Level. How much energy will your dog want from me? After that, I would like to know a little about your dog specifically. Is the dog Potty trained? Do they have a way of telling that they "Need to go Potty"? What is their favorite activity/toy? How well do they interact with other animals(ie while on walks)? Medications/Ailments? Anything that they want me to know to provide the best care?
A typical day
I know of many trails by the American River as well as the many Dog/Recreational Parks that the greater Sacramento/Placer areas have to offer. Let me know your dog's favorite toys and spots to go and we will have lots of fun.
